Overview

HiveDesk records employee work hours with a one-click timer on Windows, macOS and Linux desktops, an iOS app, a Chrome extension and a web app. Hours are logged by client, project and task together with periodic screenshots and keyboard and mouse activity levels, then compiled into timesheets that managers review, approve and export as PDF or Excel. The same workspace covers task assignment with list, kanban, calendar and timeline views, shift scheduling with adherence and shrinkage reports, attendance and overtime tracking, leave policies and time-off requests, and invoices generated from tracked time. Screenshots come from the desktop apps only; the iOS app records GPS location at clock-in and clock-out instead.
