Review policy
Effective 2026-10-14
Real usage and account verification
A review describes a user’s own experience, separately from catalog facts and Ranking Score. Include both pros and cons. Company representatives should use moderated vendor responses rather than promotional statements presented as independent experiences. Disclose incentives or other material relationships in the review text.
Email verification confirms control of an address. It does not verify product usage or expertise. We do not award verified-use badges merely because an account can sign in.
Moderation and ratings
An active account with verified email is required. Submitted revisions go to a human moderator. One native review per account and product can be revised. Submission limits and access checks reduce abuse but do not guarantee detection of every deceptive review.
Moderation considers relevance, detail, abuse, spam, conflicts and suspicious claims. A negative rating alone is not grounds for rejection. Representatives cannot hide a review; connected moderators cannot moderate it. Only the current published revision participates in public aggregates. No reviews means no rating, rather than zero stars.
Revisions, privacy and reports
The approved version remains visible while an edit awaits approval. Authors can withdraw reviews. Reasons and moderation history remain recorded; internal notes are private.
Public reviews show first name, last initial, current avatar, date and voluntary usage information. Email, phone, account identifiers and private revisions are excluded. Content is escaped plain text. Report a review through Contact with its page and reference, disputed information and evidence. A report does not automatically hide it.
