SOFTOSAUR POLICY

Editorial policy

Who publishes the information

Softosaur publishes the catalog and Journal. Structured product records do not imply that a named team member personally used each product. Journal bylines identify the participating author or corporate author. A named reviewer is shown only after that person’s actual review.

Our team and professional backgrounds are described on About us. The operator’s registered identity and registration reference are published in Legal Information, together with a route for private account and privacy requests.

Sources and uncertainty

Editors retain sources and evidence with catalog assertions. Official documentation, vendor statements, independent material, user experiences and direct tests have different roles. Feature vocabulary provenance does not prove a product’s support. Source information is available to authorized editors and card owners. Private editorial notes remain restricted to authorized staff.

Known No and zero remain answers. Unknown, not disclosed, not applicable and unanswered retain their meanings. Contradictory evidence needs clarification. A category assignment does not establish every feature.

Category selection guides

Category guides explain the work a type of software is meant to support, the differences between approaches and the criteria that can change a buying decision. A suggested evaluation scenario describes something a buyer can investigate. It is not a claim that Softosaur tested a product or that every product in the category supports the feature.

We distinguish basic functions from requirements that depend on a team’s size, industry or operating model. Specialized legal, financial, clinical and security requirements need appropriately scoped evidence. Named authors, qualifications and review dates are published only when the corresponding participation and work can be established. Use the correction link below a guide to report a disputed statement or unclear explanation.

Direct experience and research

A catalog description or automatic comparison is not a hands-on review. Direct-testing articles must record version, plan, date, environment, scenarios, limitations and supporting materials. Vendor screenshots and demo videos do not establish first-hand use. Conclusions apply only to the tested scope.

Measurements need reproducible conditions; subjective observations must be identified. Research needs its collection period, selection criteria, sample and limitations. Medical, financial, legal, security and other high-risk recommendations require reliable evidence and an appropriately qualified reviewer.

AI assistance and translations

Software assembles public pages, comparisons and ranking from approved facts. AI may assist research and text preparation, but cannot establish capabilities or replace source checks and publication approval. It must not invent people, credentials, reviews, tests or statistics. Automated checks are not expert review.

Bulk preparation checks identity, categories, material facts, evidence and duplicates through the editorial workflow. Translation must preserve names, plans, uncertainty and technical meaning. A translation does not establish regional availability. Page volume and text uniqueness do not establish usefulness.

Conflicts and commercial relationships

Relevant employment, supplied access, sponsorship and other material conflicts must be disclosed in editorial material. Pavel’s previous CMO roles include CMW Lab and Familoop, as stated on About us; those connections should be considered when assigning reviews about those companies. That background is not proof of testing any product.

Vendor Pro affects placement and active website links. It adds no quality points or control over user ratings and matching. Representatives cannot approve their own company changes or moderate that company’s reviews.

Corrections and dates

Use Contact for product, category-guide or Journal corrections and other concerns, and the suggestion form for new products. Include the disputed page, fact and appropriate source. Reports are private and require review. A receipt is not acceptance of a claim.

Assertions and moderation actions retain history. Publication, substantive update, price check and vendor confirmation are different dates. A template or title-year change does not mean all facts were rechecked. Significant Journal corrections can carry a dated explanation while retaining the original publication date.
