How account data is used.
Version 2026-10-02
Information you provide
Accounts store your email, first and last name, job title and company, with an optional phone number and avatar. Your password is stored as a secure hash. Email, phone, consent records and activity history are private; there are no public user profiles at this stage.
Account services
We use this information to operate your account, verify email, recover access, save your shortlists and administer permissions. Security emails are separate from optional marketing. Avatars are cropped and converted to small image variants; originals and image metadata are not retained.
Verification and email
Registration uses Google reCAPTCHA v3, which processes browser information to assess abuse. Google’s Privacy Policy applies. Verification and recovery messages are sent through the configured email service. First-party session cookies are needed to stay signed in.
Activity and administration
We record confirmed account actions such as registration, email verification and profile updates. These records can support future product features and segmentation; their existence does not grant marketing permission. We do not record every click or scroll in this account history. Administrative access and status changes have a separate audit trail.
Your choices and requests
Profile fields and avatars can be updated in Account. Optional marketing permission can be withdrawn there. To request access, correction or removal of account data, contact the Softosaur team. Data requests require identity checks and are handled by the team; there is no automatic account deletion tool yet. Account history and security audit have separate retention purposes.
Company traffic reports
Commercial company pages and listings count aggregate views and official website clicks by company and day. Reports contain totals, without visitor names, accounts, IP addresses, session identifiers or browsing histories. These approximate counters are separate from your account activity and do not change software matching or review scores.
