What a match means

We compare your selected requirements with documented features and checked plans. A documented fit means that a plan covers those requirements and has a price we can estimate for your billing choice. It does not certify every detail in a free-text message.

Setup, external connections and uncertain seat pricing are shown as conditions. Missing or outdated evidence is “not confirmed”. We never interpret a missing fact as proof that a feature does not exist.

Where the facts come from

Each feature and plan links to a vendor source and records the date of our editorial check. Checking documentation is different from testing the software ourselves. A vendor claim and a Softosaur editorial check are stored separately; no vendor verification badges have been awarded.

After 90 days, facts and prices need a recheck before they can support a documented match. A date does not guarantee that the vendor has made no changes since our check.

How prices are compared

Annual plans show a monthly equivalent and an annual commitment. Per-seat and workspace prices are calculated differently. Known seat minimums and limits are respected. We do not convert currencies or treat a missing price as zero.

Taxes, onboarding, AI extras, external subscriptions and hosting are excluded. A free self-hosted license still needs infrastructure. Guest roles and seat bundles must be checked before purchase. The chosen plan is the lowest-priced compatible plan in our checked set, which may not include every vendor offer.

Country, data and procurement

Country checks are separate from features. Select the buying country, other user locations, required data region and procurement register. Missing or stale positive evidence prevents a documented fit. Known restrictions remain visible until an editor supersedes them. Country evidence needs rechecking after 30 days.

Government, state-owned and regulated purchases always need an organization-specific review. A register entry, EU storage, local incorporation or self-hosting alone does not certify a purchase. Read the scope and examples.

Your shortlist belongs to you

The finder remembers your criteria in this browser. Reset clears them. Copy link includes your task and requirements in the link, so only share details you are comfortable sharing. An account lets you save selected tools on the portal; exporting does not require one.

Independent ordering

Results are ordered by documented fit, conditions, missing evidence, team type and estimated price. There are no paid placements in this version. Future sponsorships must be visibly labelled and kept separate from the requirement checks.
