- A2X does not file tax returns or act as a tax advisor; filing is done in the accounting software or a tax app such as Avalara or TaxJar.
- A2X posts one summarized entry per payout period rather than individual order entries.
A2X connects ecommerce sales channels to accounting software. Each time a channel pays out, A2X creates one summarized entry for that payout period, separating sales, fees, refunds, gift cards and taxes so it matches the bank deposit. Payment gateways can post daily, weekly or monthly. Tax and VAT are split by transaction type and registered country, and cost of goods sold can be posted from SKU costs entered in A2X, uploaded as CSV, synced from Shopify or taken from inventory systems such as Finale. A2X does not calculate or file tax. Historical payout data can be fetched, with the depth depending on the plan.
