Overview

Developers embed rendering, annotations, AcroForm filling, page editing, text search and signatures into their own apps, opening PDFs from the file system, memory or an http stream, including encrypted files. Higher licence tiers add DOCX opening and conversion to PDF, content redaction, inline text editing, PDF/A and linearized saving, and XFDF import and export. Each licence covers one application on one operating system, and playback of multimedia annotations depends on the reader used.
