Overview

GanttProject builds a task hierarchy and automatically schedules dependent work. Managers can record progress, compare a baseline, assign people and inspect load or resource-rate costs. PDF, HTML, PNG and CSV exports support reporting, while MPX, MPP and MSPDI imports and MSPDI export support exchange with Microsoft Project within the features used. The GPL-3.0 desktop application runs offline on Windows, macOS and Linux without signup or usage caps; paying for a download is optional and does not unlock features. It is designed for schedules measured in days or weeks. Hour/minute scheduling, mobile planning and large interdependent enterprise portfolios are outside its recommended fit. Optional GanttProject Cloud adds collaboration separately.
