Overview

Gantt Excel keeps a project plan inside an Excel workbook on Windows or Mac. Enable macros to show its ribbon commands, then create task hierarchies and four dependency types with lead/lag and automatic rescheduling. Pro adds unlimited tasks and projects, critical-path and float calculations, resource working calendars, costs, baseline/estimated/actual comparisons and dashboards. The free download is a permanent workbook rather than an expiring trial. Pro is sold in Daily Planner, Hourly Planner and Hourly + Daily Planner editions: daily work uses whole days, while hourly work can be scheduled to the minute. All are one-time purchases with one year of upgrades. The former Ultimate name now refers to Pro; it is not another product. Excel and enabled macros remain prerequisites.
