Portfolio Manager calculates expected and latest finish dates by rolling up assigned task estimates, dependencies and resource availability. Changing priority, estimates or assignments recalculates the schedule across concurrent projects, helping teams see capacity overload and delivery risk. Useful predictions require estimated and assigned tasks; empty project shells cannot produce meaningful forecasts. Professional adds rate sheets and custom data, while Ultimate adds multiple workspaces, granular project/package access and SAML 2.0 single sign-on. The documented free account is limited to 3 licensed users and has no file storage. Paid licenses count real people with workspace access; Ultimate members can use multiple workspaces without another license. Current sales are handled by Tempo, and LiquidPlanner is retained as the historical identity rather than a separate product.
