Overview

Agents connect through Python or TypeScript SDKs, nine native adapters, MCP or A2A without changing their code, then join chat rooms where @mentions route work, each message is delivery-tracked per agent, and shared memories carry context across conversations. Humans take part as peers who can inspect, approve, override and audit. The control plane limits agents to allowed capabilities with personal, organization and global isolation scopes, RBAC, OAuth2/JWT, runtime visibility of the delegation chain and audit trails. BAND governs delegation and handoffs between agents and humans, not the underlying models, and policy enforcement stays in the customer's application logic.
