Overview

ProjectLibre Desktop serves an individual manager working with local project files on Windows, macOS or Linux. It includes dependencies, constraints, calendars, baselines, earned value and Microsoft Project file compatibility. Resource and cost management are within an individual project. ProjectLibre Cloud instead connects multiple projects and shared enterprise resource pools, with role-based access, real-time collaboration, portfolio leveling and risk analysis. Cloud updates in September 2026 describe enterprise resource leveling; do not transfer those Cloud entitlements to the free desktop download. Desktop is free and open source without a subscription. The current Cloud site offers Core and Enterprise/PMO annual subscriptions, while ProjectLibre Pro is marked coming soon.
