Overview

Merlin Project keeps schedule and board activity in one project file: moving a Kanban task updates progress and dates in Gantt. Managers link tasks, review critical path and slack, retain baselines and assign people, equipment or materials. Mind maps can become a work breakdown structure. Native Mac and iPad/iPhone applications work locally and offline; optional iCloud Drive or Dropbox synchronization reconciles team changes. Microsoft Project exchange uses XML rather than a promise of native MPP parity, with CSV and PDF outputs for reporting. Mac and mobile subscriptions are priced separately. After the unrestricted 30-day trial the application remains a free viewer, but editing and export require a subscription. There is no native Windows edition.
